Last 8 days at a time from 10-11am. 4 cloudy. 4 sunny. 1 was rainy and 1 was right after light snowfall. Looks like last 3 days have been sunny and depressingly bare

And the city of Thessaloniki today.
That lone CIDP looks like it is hanging on for dear life. Hope it makes it.
Enjoyed a short trip to DC this weekend. Winnipeg and DC have been mentioned as being in the same climate zone. Hogwash.
I would have to say DC looks far more temperate and less Artic than Winnipeg. DC is loaded with all kinds of broadleaf evergreen trees and shurbs. Doesn't look arctic at all. DC is not subtropical, but it certainly isn't in the same category as those truly arctic Canadian climates.
So far this month, DC is averaging -1.3F below average, yet it didn't look like a winter wonderland at all. DC certainly doesn't look anything like the white snow and ice covered landscape of Winnipeg.
Capitol Dome is being restored for the 2nd time since the Civil War:
Green grass. Something Winnipeg won't see until April lol.
