I visited Loch Ness last May. Was cloudy with temps around 60F snow must be pretty rare this late in the year!

I don't care? Obviously I'm going to post about where I live. Plus isn't there snow in the behind your house hill from September-June every winter? Snow on April 25th shouldn't be all that of a surprise to you.

But yes, that is interesting.

It's now 96 F here, which ties the all-time April high and as always, we passed the predicted high for the NWS of 93 F

AJ1013 you that live here also, do you notice this too? NWS always underestimates our highs for some reason.

Yeah...and the overestimate winter lows too

I feel like they just want to be conservative and dont want to call extremes either way.

Yeah I don't care except nearly everytime I come into this particular forum I post charts showing the country with cold/hot and it just gets ignored in case of some silly irrelevant warning about frost or something. (and most of the time when I come in here I actually post relevant record breaking rare stuff)

Anyway I just made the relevant point that maybe we should have a EUROPE weather thread.

Don't worry. If you don't live in the Northeast or Midwest U.S., your post will be ignored. I don't even know why I bother anymore. It helps to have other posters live near you (like in my case). But if you are isolated, no one cares about your weather. It's actually quite sad.
