Last July was actually above normal here, which was a shock to me because it felt cool-ish. But I'm coming from a slightly warmer climate (NYC), 86/71 vs 82/67 in July. July 2014 averaged 83/67 here (Long Island) vs July 2013's 88/75 in NYC, the difference was very noticeable, especially at night.

We already hit 82 this march. It has been quite warm here for a while. Trees are mostly green.

80s? I think we need to get to 57 first. :-) lol

Max temps so far this year.

Looks like me, Bridgeport, and I think that's Scranton ,PA are the furthest south with just 50s as max.

Wow, that sure is a hot spot in Northwest Nebraska, 127 F

I've noticed this March that there's been stronger surges of warm air across the Great Plains. Already in the 80s/90s in SD and NE? I would imagine this map for those would be more typical if it were April 30th instead of March 31st.

Maybe a sign of things to come this summer?

Central Park 84/69F
LGA 85/70F
JFK 83/69F

Alicante has reached 32,5°C/90,5°F yesterday.
This is the highest temperature in Europe in 2015 up til now, and the 90°F boundary has been broken.

Was wondering that too. Looks like he's talking about Newark, NJ. Your numbers are correct for the Average max for NYC sites.

Hartford,CT is 84.5
Bridgeport,CT is 82.2

Being away from the coast sucks in the summer. lol

Didn't realize Northern CT had a warmer July max normal than NYC.
