You still have not grasped the fact that what others feel is entirely subjective, have you?

15C, especially if it is windy, IS chilly for mid May in the south of the UK, even here in Malta today it felt chilly despite reaching 21C...

Anyway...

Owen, I don't know why you continue to do this when others post temperature observations

For one, feeling chilly is subjective to the person, and second of all, you do not live where I do. We live in the same category of climate, but our weather is very different to yours.

15C is only a few degrees below your average July high, but here it is chilly for mid May. It does feel very cool with the wind added to it, just because you are getting single figure maxima it doesn't mean that it isn't still cool here

The November 14c with rain has disappeared and it's now 16c and sunny, normal weather for late April or early May, but 2c below average for today's date.

I don't think Owen understands that his mid summer temperatures are what London gets in mid-May or early October (but his July would be extremely cloudy for a May here).

I can't believe that we had 11.7C at 11 pm on New Year's Day yet consistently can't even get that in the afternoon in the second half of May!

48F at 4:30pm on May 18th. Wow, that sounds very cool for the time of year. I wonder if this has to do with the cold AMO happening.

I don't know if I have acclimated already given the warm start to May, but walking 5 blocks to get lunch today didn't feel bad at all despite 30C and 19C dewpoint. I love east winds off the Atlantic, as long as it isn't overcast and windy.

Maybe, or he just don't understand not everyone perceives temperature the same as him. It was 57°F when I was outside at 8:30 am. Wouldn't have thought to call it chilly because it was morning.

The difference between London and Northern Ireland in July in maximum temperature is the same as the difference between London and Barcelona in July.

Yet he seems to think that everywhere in the UK has the same weather as he does.
