Look like winter is trying to catch on summer in terms of thunderstorms.
We had no less than four thunderstorms today, this was accompanied by unsettled weather rain- and graupelshowers as well and gusty winds. That all was due the cold air aloft and temperature of -39°C at 5500 metres altitude. The cold airloft has moved further east now- and now it's the "normal" drizzly type of rain again.

Did film some of the storms today and with some luck, i got one strike on film. (Quality not the best unfortunality)

7:20 PM, about 50F, calm, overcast. Topped out today around 55F with no solid sunshine, but weak rays did manage to penetrate the cloud cover enough at times to produce shadows. Not a bad day overall and I was able to take the dog on a nice walk. No rain but they're saying we might get some tonight.
