A bit of a dynamic weather forecast here. We're expecting highs near 60ºF/16ºC today and a cold front should push through early Christmas Eve. Our high temperature will occur before sunrise.

Christmas Eve: Scattered showers, mainly before 7am. Mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 46ºF (8ºC) by 10am. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 10 to 20 mph (16-32 km/h), with gusts as high as 33 mph (53 km/h). Chance of precipitation is 30%. (Early maximum temperature 52ºF/11ºC.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36ºF (2ºC). South southwest wind around 6 mph (10 km/h) becoming calm in the evening.
Christmas Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 45ºF (7ºC). Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph (10 km/h) in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37ºF (3ºC).

Christmas Eve Night

A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 65. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight.

Christmas Day
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 78. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 64. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph.

Depressing. I realize that asking for a White Christmas is probably a bridge too far in my area of the country (about 95 out of 100 years anyway), but couldn't it at least have been, you know, not like Memorial Day?

Latest forecast for Saskatoon:

Low of -20°C / -4°F
Periods of light snow

Still plenty of hoarfrost on the trees here, I'm hoping it'll last through the next couple of days.

Christmas Eve: Cloudy with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms - 21 C/12 C
Christmas Day: Partly Sunny - 15 C/4 C

It will be quite surreal experiencing warm and humid conditions tomorrow. Hopefully will get some thunderstorms to make it even more memorable.

Sounds about like us. A high of around 80 is par for the course for about the 1st, maybe 2nd week of October here. In its proper context, this is great. Not so much in December.
