Now that's more like it! By the way, Fairbanks is having a pretty warm December as well. December 2013 was much colder there.

They are desert storm remnants that bring scattered storms 1-5 times every summer. This summer was a very active season so we got more rain events other summers we get one, but ABrandNewWorld's exagerates my remarks.

Not even going to comment about being there Thanksgiving rather than now.
Some of that warmth is going to be spreading northwards once again this weekend. Forget Florida, some parts of southern Georgia/South Carolina could see temps as high as 80 F on Sunday afternoon.

How awful. Thankfully, the warmth seems to be staying south this time. My forecast high for Sunday is in the upper forties.

Kentucky will be in the 50s the next couple days. Great for this time of year but not actually warm.

Well, it happens when the Bermuda high strengthens and moves farther north than usual. Happened December 2013 before the polar vortex finally broke it last January. Don't see that happening again. I'm expecting above average temps for much of next month down here.

Then christmas day temps are hovering in the mid-sixties (66) with drizzle and showers around. Temps are forecast to rise to just below 70 with ongoing showery weather! . All I wanted was a cool (50s) and sunny christmas due to snow being out of the question and I get this BUL****T.

Sorry about the rant. Just really dissapointed
I don't know where you spent Christmas but in Fort Lauderdale yesterday the weather was divine!

72 all day, slightly overcast and NO rain.

We went out on the boat about 2PM and it was nice in the canals but got downright chilly on the intracoastal waterway and on the New River.

We were outside by the pool on the water yesterday, had the fireplace going and commented on how perfect the weather was.

We fried oysters, grouper, turkey and spent the entire day outside.

I live in Western Oregon and a typical Christmas Eve and Day will have thick clouds, a 10 to 20 mile (16 - 32 K) southwesterly breeze and spitting rain under temperatures hovering around 42 (5.5C) degrees.
Yesterday was pretty superior in comparison to average. We got all the clouds wind and rain we expect but the temperature was in the low 50's (10's).

Our typical Christmas weather is a lot better than say, Dutch Harbor or Iqaluit , but I would like to see one with cloudless skies, no or little wind and an afternoon temperature in the mid sixties......
