New Year's Eve: 57/42 with a 40 percent chance of showers and snow down to the 2,000 foot elevations.
New Year's Day: 59/39 with clearing skies

A chance of wintry weather was shown in the forecast earlier this week, but the overnight lows have since been raised. I'm hoping it gets put back in.

Forecast for Trondheim: New Year's Eve and New Year's Day: Mild for this time of year, cloudy. Last year had a high of 6.7C at New Year's Eve.




I've cheched New Year's Eve in Trondheim back to year 2000.
Coldest year: 2001, with high -10.2C, low -20.3C Brrrrr!
In 2006: High 6.9C, low 2.6C

Somehow I doubt that the record low/ high for stuart is 81/48

From wonderground the records for your area are

84/30 for new years eve and 86/30 for new years day...? Where did your info come from???

That is from the downtown Stuart station. I am using data from the closer Port Salerno 5W, which only has records going back to 2002.
