Despite its reputation as having relentless summer heatwaves, it is much better than somewhere like Brisbane in summer. (due to lower minimums and less humidity).
December surprisingly cool in that year, and cooler than November. (not ideal, but not a big deal either).
Even Sydney doesn't get that dark in the winter. I like the 2nd half of the year though.

Not quite. June is the gloomiest month. September is the sunniest, with close contenders being August and November.
Nice comfortable temperatures but too dry. Winters in Adelaide are generally quite dull but it has a nice yearly balance of sunshine hours for me.
