Thank you! In February 2012 many regions here saw very much snow! But not too much in my city Serres It was the greatest snowstorm of the latest years after 2001. Generally we receive some snow every winter 1-2 times but not too much!
Gävle- 4-6th of December 1998 Lake-effect snow
Snow depth reached 139cm(54.7") in the city and 150cm(59.1") in some areas. A metre of snow fell in three days on top of the 38cm(15") on the ground already. Temperatures were near 0C (32F) during the snowfall and fell below -10C days after.
Similar to the recent snowstorm in New York (Buffalo area in November 2014)
