Reasonably close in the winter and summer

Chicago (Midway)----------Zaporizhia

Winter 3 month avg max: 1.6C-----/0.3C
Winter 3 month Mean: -2.2C----/ -2.6C
Summer 3 month avg max: 28.2C-----/27.3C
Summer 3 month Mean: 23.2C-----/21.5C

In terms of average temps, the biggest variation would be in the autumn where Chicago is significantly warmer.

Spring 3 month avg max: 15.3C-----/14.5C
Spring 3 month Mean: 10.2C------/9.4C
Autumn 3 month avg max: 17.1C---/14.0C
Autumn 3 month Mean:12.4C-----/9.3C

I'm a bit surprised as to how cold Zaporizhia is being somewhat close to the Black Sea

If Chicago, if you move away from the influence of Lake Michigan by a mere 25 miles (as well as less of a UHI), then the climate, especially the minimum temps become more continental. This station along with others around it would probably the most extreme case in the Chicago area as it is located in a river valley. So there is a topographical depression which would cause frost hollow in the winter, and higher daytime heat in the summer.

London is in the middle of Seattle and Vancouver as far as summer temperatures are concerned. It certainly isn't notably warmer in every month.

Getting an exact match is going hard. Considering western Washington has some rather different weather patterns than western Europe, the difference between Seattle and Tacoma is rather minor.

As far as annual mean temps go, London = Seattle, and is warmer than Vancouver by 1-2c in every month (max and min)

we still talk about a 4F/5F difference... These dew points are still quite high IMO.

I had wondered if Anchorage and Oslo might be sister climates given their similar latitudes. I think Oslo might be slightly warmer, though.

Annual mean in Oslo is actually ca 4 degrees C warmer, and Oslo is warmer in all months. Oslo is also in a different climate zone.

Anchorage annual mean is about the same as in Tromsø, but Tromsø is more oceanic and wetter.
A good match for Anchorage is Skibotn in Storfjord, east of Tromsø. Annual mean in Skibotn is 2.5C (1961-90), annual precipitation varies from 300 to 450 mm /year, depending on weather station. And, like Anchorage, Skibotn has a summer maximum (precip).
Skibotn (69 N) is the driest village in Norway (by annual mean precip, and excl Svalbard) which also has a seashore, in the inner part of a long fjord named Lyngen.

Berlin is slightly colder than Boston.

Winters are about the same. Summers are hotter in Boston.
