BOTTOM LINE: Folks living in the Northeast will need to take action to prepare for the upcoming snow storms, in addition to the upcoming prolonged cold wave. While many locations in the Northeast have approximately 1-3 feet of snowfall on the ground, we expect another 1-3 feet to fall over the upcoming several days. Once the snow-storms pass, bitter cold arctic air will settle down across the Northeast, making it very difficult to do things outside for any period of time.
