Definitely longer rain in summer, though winters are highly variable. Some have just a couple days a month with a short downpour, while others have miserable days with light rain all day long. Generally, cooler winter months have shorter periods of more intense rain.
What about US south, I wonder? Are there rain hours longer in the winter too?
What about the snow hours in the South in winter?
