First frosts in Buenos Aires province today, even in metro area of BA. Mins:

Limache: -5,3ºC
Azul -2,5ºC
Tandil -2,0ºC
Dolores -1,8ºC
Las Flores -1,6ºC
Bahia Blanca -0,3ºC
La Plata 1,6ºC
Ezeiza 2,0ºC
Buenos Aires center 6,7ºC



The max was only 15.3ºC here. Coldest day of the year so far.

This is 3rd day that we're getting absolutely clear weather (much needed after a horrible April).

^^^ looks very bleak.


An awesome lightning display last night, from a storm about 100 km away. There were clear skies here, so the flashes were illuminating the sky above here. Some vivid shooting stars around as well.

Lots of Monarch butterflies around at present -very nice.

Been back up in Cairns since the night of the 21st of April and the change from Melbourne has been truly phenomenal. No rain I've seen yet.

Most of the days have been clear with total sun except for a few stray clouds on some days. Also the max temps have been stable around 29C or 30C on most days.
