Who cares? What does that have to do with this discussion??

Quit trolling about the UK constantly, it is beyond pathetic...

And you live in the city with one of the most rubbish climates in the entire USA, so your point is?

Huh? How on earth does that have anything to do with my arguement being invalid?

Some people get personally offended by a weather discussion.

And some people deliberately troll for a response...

Why is it "trolling" to say that london has a bad climate? Get this through your heads! London has a bad climate. Miami has a bad climate. Alaska has a bad climate. Singapore has a bad climate. San francisco has a bad climate.

Why is it "trolling" to state a opinion based on the standard climatic preferances of most people?

God this is rediculous... Most of us who live in poor climates dont freak out when someone comments on its shortcomings!
This stupid London **** needs to stop

It's trolling when you purposefully ignore actual stats or make up stats though, such as claiming a weather station in London that recorded 80f doesn't count, because it's not Heathrow or isn't on some random US site with inaccurate data anyway. Then when Heathrow is warmest, they claim its part of the UHI so it doesn't count, even though it isn't part of the UHI.

It's funny when it comes from someone who lives in Seattle, which has the same average temperature in summer as the outer London stations.

Because this particular user brings out his hate for the UK in dozens & dozens & dozens of threads & even when it has nothing to do with the discussion. He is beyond obsessed, that is why it is trolling & not just having an opinion...

You seem to be very like wavehunter, always looking to criticise the UK climate

The site that records 1400 hours of sunshine - Greenwich - is obscured - when all other stations in London record 1550-1650 hours of sunshine, it doesn't take a genius to realise that Greenwich is an anomaly.

I don't see why this thread has caused up such a fuss.. Kew Gardens IS in London, it IS an official Met Office station, it is actually closer to the centre of London than Heathrow.. so what is the issue? London therefore HAS recorded 80f this year

This guy is even trying to tell me that Heathrow is the most representative climate for London, despite the fact that he is thousands of miles away and I live a 5 minute drive away from Heathrow If you want an accurate representation of the climate of actual London city itself, where the tourists and millions of people work everyday, look at London WC, not some airport 20 miles out west in the suburbs that is surrounded by lakes and fields.

Well. By that logic the Kew Gardens reading is an anomoly and should be ignored!

Nobody is arguing that London has a bad climate - I would agree with that actually, it does, even though it is a hell of a lot better than many places including a large majority of US cities that get freezing winters.

But it is obvious trolling when the poster uses incorrect data, tries to claim a knowledge of an area where he has never lived. Why do you think that he used the incorrect Greenwich sunshine hours to claim that London gets 1400 hours, yet he earlier said that we should stick to one station - Heathrow, that records 1630?

I agree, I wish this London crap would end as it is pretty boring, but trolls need to stop for that to happen.
