Yeah, I know that we will not be sure of what temperatures we will hit for another 5 days at least.. I am hopeful though!

Oh god Owen, please don't tell me you are going to be studying geography.. Heathrow is not within London city which is a square mile radius right in the centre.. it is on the edge of greater London and right next to countryside. Please stop entering subjects you know nothing about!

Why don't we, instead of arguing pointlessly focus on the exciting impending U.K heatwave
It is a silly view, though

Well, the Helsinki Airport station is physically in the city of Vantaa, which is actually the 4th largest city in Finland. Anyway, the station is "the official one", as it's more representative for the capital region as a whole, unlike the Helsinki Kaisaniemi station which is a microclimate with considerable maritime and UHI influences.

I don't care what stations people use for their observations, as long as they are consistent. In Helsinki it's the HKI Airport station.

Talk about arrogant.
Average high of 30C, and low of 20C in July. Why would I need to visit when I can read?

Why are you being rude? It's completely unnecessary, and just highlights a complete lack of intelligence.

Owen seems to forget that the internet exists, where you can't possibly know the climate of a place without living there for some reason.

Well stop continuing with your stupid argument that no one else agrees with then

It is obvious you are so young when you stamp your feet like a toddler with your fingers in your ears...

Your reasoning has NO logic, London HAS reached 80F. End of. If you only use Heathrow stats that's lovely for you, stupid, but that's up to you...

Pots & kettles Owen...

And who are you talking about? Not me I hope as I have never once sent you a PM...

I guess the people who live in Kew haven't hit 80f yet then, seeing as they live in London?

That's right. If there was a thread called "UK's first 27 C in 2015", AJ wouldn't accept it unless it reached 27 C on the summit of Ben Nevis.
