I can actually put up with the heat rather stoically at work (no AC). If the sun were beating down on me, I wouldn't tolerate it at all.

It's a normal day in central Kentucky, a flash flood watch and 0 lightning strikes.

I'll bet they have heat blasting in the winter, though.

How about right now it's in the 60s with sunny skies over the farms in Iowa.

8-15 below normal from Texas to Minnesota. About normal in the East. Absolutely suffocating outside I cant stay more than 20 minutes. Horrible.

It must be hell to live in a climate where you despise even your average temps. You do realize that you are not going to get cold rainy summers every year right? I just can't relate to folks, and there appear to be quite a few on this board, that seem to hate even their average temps. You really need to move to Alaska or something if you hate even 80F that much.

You complain about your average temps in the winter all the time.

Also we're getting a nice thunderstorm here right now. July so far seems to be doing a lot better than June in terms of rainfall.

I responded in the dewpoint thread by accident.. Too drained to move it. Lol. Yeah, don't you complain about winters? Then again maybe you're fine with your "averages" there.

Thus is the type of summer morning I'd like to have...every morning.. Lucky them

No I don't. I complained the last two winters as we were well below average. I have no problem with our average winter temps.

I am fine with average temps. You aren't. It must be miserable for you each and every summer. Summer tends to be far more stable and close to average than winter, and you hate even average summer conditions it seems going by your posts. So most summers I imagine are going to be very bad for you.

Is there any season where you would be happy with average temps? If I recall, even in winter you want more snow and more cold than even average.
