Daaam! I just love watching the different layers of the atmosphere and how the clouds move. 1 layer going right to left, the higher layers back to front.

That wind was nuts! Good idea at that angle protected from the winds. Just looking at the rain and wind on the grass is insane.

Yes, 90s. Here's what the GFS MOS says for Kentucky.. N = Min. X = Max. I forgot about this link

Here is where you can click each state: Note top left you can see the other models NAM/GFS/GFS Extended. Map of States with Links to GFS-Based Text Forecasts

It's cool they put the Normal low and max on there too. 66/86

NWS always seems to underestimate future heat waves for whatever reason. They do the same in winter with cold snaps. I remember when we had the 97 F day back in late April, NWS was predicting 92 F for us, while TWC was predicting 98 F. TWC ended up being much close.

TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
A HEAT WAVE IS IN STORE FOR MIDWEEK. 925 MB TEMPERATURES ARE
FORECAST TO REACH 24-25C TUE AND 28-29C BY THU WITH 850 MB
TEMPERATURES RISING FROM 18C TUE TO 21-22C THU. 850 MB WINDS OUT
OF THE WEST WED INTO EARLY THU WILL PROVIDE DOWNSLOPE WARMING.
WE ARE FORECASTING HIGHS APPROACHING 90 IN THE CT RIVER VALLEY
TUE...THEN 90 TO 95 WED...AND MID 90S ON THU...COOLER ON THE CAPES
AND ISLANDS OF COURSE. HUMIDITY WILL ALSO BE ON THE RISE BUT
DEWPOINTS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO REACH NEAR 70 UNTIL THURSDAY.
IF THIS IS TRUE...THEN IT MAY HOLD HEAT INDEX VALUES BELOW THE
HEAT ADVISORY THRESHOLD OF 100 DEGREES. REGARDLESS...IT WILL FEEL
QUITE HOT.
Yup.

CHANGES THURSDAY WITH THE APPROACH
OF THE UPPER TROUGH AND COLD FRONT. BETTER CHANCE FOR STORMS AS THE
SLIGHTLY COOLER AND LESS HUMID AIR CLASHES WITH THE STEAMY AIRMASS
ACROSS THE EAST COAST
..

TEMPS NEAR NORMAL MONDAY...WITH ABOVE NORMAL READINGS EXPECTED
THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD. HOWEVER...WED AND THU SHOULD BE
THE HOTTEST DAYS. HIGHER HUMIDITY LEVELS ARE ANTICIPATED AS WELL
THOSE TWO DAYS. THIS SHOULD YIELD HEAT INDICES IN THE 90S DURING THE
AFTERNOON HOURS TUE THROUGH THU. MID TO UPPER 90S POSSIBLE WED AND
THU.

Neat, thanks for that. Looks like further west in KY will get mid-70s dewpoints along with those temperatures.
