Lol yeah, a place with an average high barely touching 80 F and average lows around 60 F (in it's warmest month) is no different from Jacksonville.

With people like that, there's no point in arguing. You can present them with facts and they'll take their stupid "personal" experience over it. You weren't there, how do you know?

To nitpick, the coastal Carolinas have water temperatures of 83-85°F

So this is the heat wave that needs to be executed and then *disposed of* in a timely manner, huh?

When it gets to be around the 25th, I wanna be hearing the words "come on down!"...lol.

I like the probabilities. Shows the forecast more realistically. You can see the band expand a lot after six days.

Are you at least enjoying this front that pushe through? Only difference I see is that Dewpoints are in the 70s south of it, 60s north of it. Temps still in the 80s up to TN at the moment

This weekend.. Jet lifts north, here comes the heat/humidity here

Severe storms in Europe. Big storm coming

100 meteor streaks per hour. Look Northeast I believe. After midnight. Peak time is 3am. Get to a mountain top or away from the city!

Yeah, it's a lot better than it was. This is what I call summer behaving itself...lol. Warm, but not unbearably hot. Subtract another 5-7 degrees in both the temp and dewpoint, and I'd be perfectly happy.

That's promising. How humid? Might the dew point reach 75F again?

NAM says 70s for me Saturday. GFS says 70s are a stretch for you next 2 weeks. Looks like a lot of dry 50s days till weekend. Then bunch of 60s

Wonder if your done with the mid 70s (73+)

How did I do yesterday calling for sun and no storms there and in state?

Cloudburst and flooding today in the northeastern coast of Calabria (Rossano, Corigliano Calabro)
Mediterranean climates get few but strong, destructive thunderstorms in summer.
Heavy thunderstorms with waterspouts, hail and strong winds also hit the coasts of Lazio, Apulia, Campania, Sardinia and Sicily, including Palermo, in the last few days.
