It's HOT

And it's only 2 PM. 90% chance that it gets even hotter. Hottest points of the day are from 4-6 PM. I like it, but then again I don't..

All of this with a low of 14°C this morning

Nasty little Bow around Allentown heading towards Central NJ. 6:30pm Temps, Radar & Satellite

The edge of the clouds must look amazing. Look how sharp & thick it is.

65mph Wind Gust with that bow just recorded.

Right now here it's 82 F with a 70 F dew point, as I go out for a run.

Storms rolled through again in parts of the Chicago area today. Most numerous in the north suburbs. Now affecting Northwest Indiana.

ORD reached 84F/29C, and MDW 86F/30C. My suburb reached 82F/28C.

I'm liking the latest GFS

I haven't ran yet with temps above 75. I wonder how I'll do. I noticed muggy and warm slows me down.

NWS NY....

.LONG TERM /WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY/...
NORTH AMERICA PATTERN LOOKS TO BECOME MORE ZONAL (SUMMER-LIKE) WITH
SHORTWAVES TRAVERSING ACROSS SOUTHERN CANADA INTO NEXT WEEK.
.

THERE IS MODERATE INSTABILITY WITH LI`S OF -2 TO -6 C AND UP TO 40 KT OF DEEP LAYER SHEAR. WITH MAX TEMPS APPROACHING 90...HAVE TO THINK AT LEAST SCT TSTMS FOR THE INLAND AREAS

LI = lift index. A measure of atmosphere stability for storms.
