I think it is like San Diego in the sense it's dry year-round and doesn't have a true winter, but it's still a lot more seasonal than San Diego. I'd have to lean towards Minneapolis by a little bit.

San Diego has the least variation in weather, while Denver has the most variety. Denver sees snow, thunderstoms, cold, heat, hail, tornado and etc.

The only thing Denver is really missing is summer humidity.

Annual average temperature for Denver: 50.4 F (10.2 C)

San Diego: 63.6 F (17.6 C)

Minneapolis: 46.2 F (7.9 C)

So much closer to Minneapolis temperature wise.

Precip:

Denver: 14.30" (363 mm)

San Diego: 10.34" (263 mm)

Minneapolis: 30.61" (778 mm)

Much closer to San Diego precip wise.

Hmmmmm....tough one. I'll go with Minneapolis because Denver has a 4 seasons feel to it.

I would say Minneapolis sees a larger variety in weather than Denver.

Minneapolis because San Diego is extremely oceanic and always warm.
