Snowy Spring Is a Incredible Climate on the planet Nuthera. Snowy Spring has a Climate that I assure you has NOT been overdone on these forums and I seriously doubt anyone one here has even dreamt up prior to today!
Nuthera is a planet with a jet-stream over 10x stronger than our jet stream on earth. On one side of the jet stream is a frigid, dry neverending wasteland. On the other is a Scorching hot desert. The only moisture on the planet flows along the northern and southern hemisphere jet-stream. The northern jet stream (the one concerning Snowy Spring alternates between 55N and 45N over the course on the year. This latitude range is the only fertile and wet area on the planet. At approximately 51 degrees north (the latitude of snowy spring) the jet stream briefly stalls for about two months in the spring and one in the fall. It is during this time period that Snowy Spring earns its namesake.
Or would you choose to live in this "polar climate" which is located on a planet much hotter than our own and features NO RAIN due to waters inability to evaporate in the circumstanced presented by the atmosphere of this planet. It is assumed the atmosphere is also safe and breathable and this climate is located on a small island exactly at the north pole!
People are more interested in realistic climates because they can actually have a meaningful discussion about them (well...most of the time ). When you post these, it makes it hard for anyone to talk about them when they are not at all similar to anything on this planet. What is the point of having a climate battle with two terrible climates? Much better to have two good climates. People can discuss what they like about them, instead of having a thread full of negative responses.
Lol at first I looked at the climate table and was thinking "Man, ATL's climate sure has changed a lot" lol
I actually like Snowy Spring, though May and June are too cold and Sep-Nov is too mild. I would prefer less seasonal delay and higher diurnal ranges in a lot of months but it's not god awful like "North Pole". Fairly easy choice for me.
