Is this typical in October, or do you normally have clear skies?
I saw a cirrus cloud - a small one - yesterday afternoon...lol.
October gets lots of clear deep blue skies, more so than summer. But also gets some gloomy stretches. Gets stuck a bit more, won't say there's a normal but clear skies are a bit more common. There's a stalled front nearby. Syracuse, btw, gets cloudy very quickly around late October. September and maybe late August are best for clear skies there.
It should be illegal for it to be more than 70 degrees anytime later than October 15th.
lol. I agree! Mother Nature should be in the Top 10 wanted list if it does too many times. In fact, would be nice to make it illegal anytime after August 15th.

I been clear with a dim all day. I see why. Oh wait.... I mean ....
I will let Steve D's latest discussion explain... Warm up 2nd half of November maybe?
Oh great this is all I need. They knocked down the rowhouse next to me and my whole brick wall is exposed where before there was a shared internal brick wall. I'm worried about constant rain and water getting in my walls. I wish these stupid builders would get busy and frame out the house before winter sets in. Builders are such ripoffs in this country.
The other thing is there go our beaches. They are already wrecked from that hurricane, and a bunch of bad noreasters in November could really cause serious damage. I'd rather have snow and cold to tell you the truth than wind whipped rains pelting my poor exposed house.
I'd rather be in Southern Maine with Sunny skies right now then here.. Damn its warm!
850mb 11C over me. 4C over Portland.
Poor nei still in the clouds. lol Actually I see a little clearing
