It looks like the cold front came thru. The temp dropped about 10F over short time while I was outside and wind changed direction. There shouldn't be any tornado threat now where I'm at.

I just got some heavy rain and strong winds.

Now 57F at airport.

Woke up to a few inches of snow here in Colorado Springs. The wind has been blowing like crazy since yesterday afternoon, howling and whistling. We got hurricane-force gusts last night, my mom said. Some of the snow drifts are pretty high - one was up to the level of my car door. So not looking forward to driving to work tonight! Ugh.

Snowfall inches as of a few hours ago:

Hearing reports of ThunderBlizzard.

Check out those reports and crazy to see Flooding reports on the East side of the storm.

Visibility 100 yards with 10 inches of snow on ground there in Kansas. Whiteout since this morning. Wow!

WU forecast here is calling for -7C on Monday morning.

That would be the coldest temperature here since February 2013. And it's only November.

It's about time for some cold; I'm getting sick of the goddamn 15C puke we've been getting for the past couple weeks.

Radar loop next 48hrs.. Take note of the next system hitting the Northwest U.S..

that is the clipper that will drop a streak of snow down in plains and mid west Friday and possibly Northeast if that coastal storm can form this weekend

Yeah, this is a pretty depressing city for cold/snow people.

But the thing is, there are mountains and other high elevation places nearby to take advantage of. Almost everyone here goes skiing up in the Alps during winter. Up there it drops to -10 or -15C regularly during winter, so it's not a total loss.

Leaves are beautiful here in North Texas and gorgeous weather, though last night we had the second tornado warning this month. First freeze is possible this weekend!

This has been about the most normal autumn I can remember in a long time. With a few temperature bump ups and temperature drops (all very brief) temperatures since September 1 have very gradually lilted downward and are week to week very average. This weekend we go to Decemberish temps with highs in the mid 30's lows mid 20's and they're talking our first accumulating snow - just about on time. (Southern Lower Mich)
