Peak angle is 51.6 for August 28th. Sun is feeling much weaker now. Already missing the bright glow of June.

Last day above 40° today. I really like the low and yellow light in early fall before 90% cloud cover rolls in.

The Sun angle is now 14 degrees lower now than it was on the Summer Solstice. The shadows are getting longer.

Sun angle looks like it peaks around 73.5 degrees today (August 28th). It's 10:19 AM right now and it still looks like an early morning glow outside.

9.5 degrees until fall equinox, 14 degrees down from summer solstice, 33 degrees to go until winter solstice. It's hard to believe the sun angle is gonna drop nearly 10 degrees in the next three weeks or so.

The earlier sunsets are going to get old real fast if we have another scorcher of a fall

Nothing worse than 5:25 P.M sunsets and 70F lows.

(Lyon)

Solar noon: 1:43 pm

peak sun angle: 53.4

Another 35c day though, so it's not like it makes that much of a difference.

Also, sunset at 8:23 pm. Gonna be weird arriving in Italy and see pre-8pm sunsets already when it's still gonna be hot.
