We are right 'on the line' again this evening in Middle TN! Could be a cold rain or an accumulating snow. Excitement reigns in TN.

Current Conditions Live....

Is that a pretty rare occurence for you? TWC was showing that a lot of the South would get some snow OR ice. It was a huge area, too including Al. Tn., the Carolinas, etc. Hopefully it'll just be snow cause ice is actually worse.

It's pretty rare...we'll see anywhere from 8-11 inches annually....actually the southern parts of Middle TN saw more snow than we did here in the higher elevations...oh well, maybe next time!

Isn't it still lingering in your area? TWC was showing that Ga. and the Carolinas would be getting snow or ice or a mixture. When they showed NC, it looked like some of it may actually go into Tn.

Jammie...there is an expectation of more snow overnight tonight and tomorrow ahead of a STRONG cold front AND a developing low pressure system in the gulf...the 'sweet spot' for snow for the gulf low is central alabama where some areas could receive up to 4 inches...that is an area that rarely sees any accumulating snowfall.
