What if all continents were moved 20 degrees south latitude except Antarctica which was moved into the tropical Pacific thus eliminating the Antarctic Circumpolar current and having ocean in the antarctic instead of a continent? Here are the latitudes of various world cities. Guess their climates
London 31N
New York 20N
Moscow 36N
Los Angeles 14N
Hong Kong 2N
Beijing 20N
Shanghai 11N
Tokyo 15N
Cairo 10N
Johannesburg 46S
Rio de Janeiro 42S
Sydney 54S
Ushuaia 75S
Esperanza Base (tropical Antarctica) 27N
South Pole (tropical Antarctica) 0N
I think in this scenario, tundra and ice cap climates would be quite rare and only limited to South America south of 60S, various other southern ocean islands like the South Island of NZ as well as high elevation areas. Australia would not be a tundra at low elevations even in the southern part due to continental influence.
