It's never happened, and I doubt it will (in my lifetime).

It's happened in Auxerre (France) for 7 straight days during the 2003 heat wave while this city has an average high of just 25.8°C in August.

Auxerre is inland away from the ocean. NYC also experiences humid heat which makes it more difficult to reach above 100F

I looked at Auxerre's data from 2003 on wunderground. The data they present doesn't show 7 straight days above 40C. Are they wrong? More importantly, look at how low the dew points were. That would allow for higher temps.

Yes, but I think that if the East coast experience a massive heat wave in the future, maybe it would be possible ?

Who knows, but like I said, it's most likely to be humid heat, and thus very difficult to reach 104F/40C.

Look how rare even 100F/38C heat is in NYC

Yes, in july 2012 for example the heat wave doesn't have really affected NYC but Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Saint Louis... was very affected.

St Louis I can see getting a week straight of 40C+ temps. I doubt DC, or Philly

Chicago consecutive record heat is from the Dust Bowl, when drought lowered dew points and allowed for more extreme temps

July 1934 Chicago/Midway had 5 days in a row of 40C+

And a detailed look at that heat wave from the closest NWS station to my house (Kankakee). We had 5 days of 40C+ but not consecutive

You are lucky to live in a place with many weather events ! Where I live, the climate is pretty boring.
