I chose the Middle East since i can't stand hot and humid weather, the Western coast of Turkey also comes closer to my ideal climate than any found in the Caribbean, the climates on the Iranian side of the Caspian Sea and on the Black Sea aren't bad either.

Most the Caribbean is hot and humid all year round.

The Middle East has areas with cool wet winters and snow even.

Look at Beirut, Damascus, Amman and Tehran.

Not a fan of hot and humid year-round so I took the Middle East. Sana'a looks preferable to most of the Caribbean as does Jerusalem. If you're going to include Turkey into the conversation then it also has preferable to the Caribbean...

Oh yeah, forgot about mainland Turkey (which is in the Middle East) - It has a continental climate, and it's far superior to anything in the Caribbean (especially for you four-seasonal lovers).

People are thinking that all of the Middle East is like Baghdad or something...

I prefer the Middle East because it actually has climates that have cold and snow in winter. Like Erzurum for example.

The Caribbean is too hot for me, but I like the amount of storms.

The Middle East has some very humid locations like Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

The Middle East is actually a rather climatically diverse region. It isn't just a hot, dry desert. The region even has continental (Yuksekova) and humid subtropical climates (Rasht, Iran).

The OP should have provided examples of Middle Eastern (and Caribbean) climates. Because I'm sure the Middle East would lead on the poll...

^^ Yusekova looks like a decent climate.

Dhahran is a ghastly climate if I've ever seen one.

I don't understand how a place can record a 95F dewpoint while averaging 36% humidity in July.

Rasht looks reasonable, but still has the driest time of year in summer which I hate.
