Football, definitely. This was a pretty unforgettable game. Pretty big snowstorm here in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area that day. We ended up with about a foot of snow in my area. Going into the game, only light snow was expected.
Wanna know which one? Cycling is one of the most affected sports. Usually, they start riding in continental Europe in February, period in which snowfall are still common. Snowfall or subzero temps make it risky to ride descents but even flat which forces the organizers to cancel stages or whole races. It doesn't help that they have to race over high mountain passes in certain races
Racing on Gavia Pass in the Giro d'Italia 1988. American Andy Hampsten won. It was late May but this pic was shot on top of the climb at 2642 meters where a snowstorm hit the race
Another not as extreme example. The Tre Cime di Laveredo Stage of the Giro 2013:
It's tennis. Not sure how all the dummies can vote for golf, you can golf in the rain, cold, wind, extreme heat. Tennis, not so much.
It's cricket. You can't play if it's raining, and the temperature, humidity, wind direction, soil moisture all play a part in the tactics of the game.
