I've created two fictional climates custom-tailored to the preferences of our two most avid heat lovers. Which is more optimal towards your personal tastes?

A) deneb78's tropical paradise: located at the equator so spring and fall are the warmest times of the year by a slight margin. Very high sunshine hours because the vast majority of the rain falls at night and doesn't interrupt daytime plans. High humidity during the day though from the leftover moisture so feels warmer than temperatures would imply. No dry season so no problems with drought either. No temperature recorded below 64 F but also no temperature above 100 F ever recorded and temperatures above 92 F are rare so it lacks the type of heat that we get here in Southern California in the inland areas.

2) Somewhere Hot: coldest month has a warmer daytime higher average than deneb78's tropical paradise's warmest month. 100 F + average highs for 6 months a year with 120 F+ common in the hottest months and 130 F + about once or twice a summer. Can get into the 50s F at night in winter but summer nights rarely drop below 80 F. Most of the time it's dry heat but it gets Phoenix-style monsoon showers and thundershowers 2-4 times each month as a brief short-lived warm rain.

Both are truly god-awful but I'd take Somewhere HOT just for the hell of it. It'd be interesting to experience those record highs, haha...

The hottest temperatures occur with very low humidity levels. When the "monsoons" come, the air temperatures "cool off" into the 90s. Phoenix does reach 120 F + on occasion and it sustains a pretty large population and as does the Middle East, even with higher dewpoints than Phoenix (of course with ubiquitous AC).

The second one is like a hotter mecca haha id lean toward the second one, less rain though summerss are just a tad hot for me. If the hottest month had topped off around 106 to 108 that would be much more ideal also if the record highs were reduced in the 120s that would also be better. I dont like the possibility that i could see a 130 degree day every summer

Yuma is now looking good! But why not...Somewhere Hot, just to see if I could take it, assuming I have powerful refrigerated AC and cheap electricity.
