A day like today almost makes me want to reconsider my selection. The thing is I don't really like heavy rain, and I hate that nasty feeling when rain gives way to sun in the summer, and for a period is in just brutally sunny and humid.

I'd rather have day long drizzle, though we don't tend to get any here, as at least you can still go out. I used to like drizzly weather in the UK & you could hear the electricity pylons "humming"

Bring em both on! Heavy rain with lots of thunder! But since we don't want flooding, alternate that with constant drizzle the rest of the days. Fog and mist too please! NO SUN EVER!!! Oh, and temps about 55.
Voila! Weather PERFECTION!

Then you should move to the Pacific coast north of Eureka, CA.

Not really. Too dry in the summer, not much heavy rain and not many thunderstorms.

Quibdo, Columbia is more like it.

It depends what kind of mood I'm in. All day rains are OK but sometimes they're just depressing. Drizzle kinda goes with everything.

Drizzle is meant for mid to late fall through winter only but never for the rest of the year.

Day long drizzle is better! It adds to the atmosphere and it's very beautiful!

55mm of rain is too much, you can't do anything, you just get soaking wet \(>_<)/
