Are there any circumstances where you are able to appreciate weather conditions you consder to be "Bad"

In my case, my most hated weather conditions are temperatures 95+ and temperatures below -20. Under either of these circumstances it becomes exceedingly uncomfortable to go outdoors. However if the event is extreme, or record breaking I it to be "interesting" and enjoy it's presence even though it's extremely uncomfortable to experience.

Absolutely. I like many different forms of weather and like to have a decent amount of variety, and that includes occasional periods of weather that isn't my favorite. I really dislike it when "bad" weather persists for extended periods of time, but I can appreciate most types of "bad" weather when they last for a few hours or a day or two and then go back to nicer conditions.

One of my favorite things about weather is experiencing the different moods, atmospheres, scenes, etc. it can create - a bitterly cold, crystal clear winter night under a starry sky, a hot humid summer day with major thunderstorms rolling in from the distance, imposing oceanic gloom among cloud-swept mountainsides, etc. I absolutely love that sort of stuff, so even when non-ideal weather rolls around the lack of comfort is well worth it for the novelty and the scenery and atmosphere it creates

The only kinds of weather I really couldn't appreciate under any circumstances would be weather that poses a serious and immediate threat to my safety. Not much to appreciate or enjoy there.

I can enjoy the wildfire haze... Nice sun colours and no blinding when the sun is low... As long it isn't too thick

Of course. Weather is good/bad for certain things. If it's 95°F/35°C and 60+% humidity, I certainly wouldn't like walking outside but swimming would be very comfortable.

My least favorite kind of weather is rain while it's 33°F/0.6°C, which is probably never good in any circumstance.

Only if we haven't experienced it in years.

I can appreciate a daylong rain if we were in a recent drought. Or a 8C daytime high, since we never had one before. Same thing with 50C.

I only think of "bad" weather as rain or cloud, or any dangerous weather. Uncomfortable doesn't fit under this definition.

I hate extreme heat but I guess the fact that we have a shot at breaking our all time record high this weekend is interesting.

Probably a 19°C day in summer after, and only after, a long heatwave.

I can appreciate, say, 120F with bone-dry dew points and hairdryer winds (Badwater Ultramarathon weather), but if it's humid heat I'm not interested no matter how spectacular it is. Within humid heat I can very much appreciate a monstrous, seemingly-unending barrage of thunderstorms even if the air is quite uncomfortable. Spectacular big thunderstorm clouds are always appreciated by me no matter how hot or humid it gets. That's all I can think of for now.

Yes, I enjoy experiencing any kind of record-breaking weather because it's exciting, but in the case of heat/humidity, it should be very short-lived.
