Like he said it's not that in Florida, infact that's peak shopping there.

I'm actually giving some thought about traveling to Ireland next summer, since it's one of the few places in the world that are guaranteed to have cool summer weather...lol. Then there's Iceland too to consider.
Dublin is better than here (obviously) but the rural areas particularly in the west are desolate. Obviously not a slum but it is just small village life there, there are hardly any department stores.

There is better infrastructure here too. I have six different supermarkets in a town near me, a railway station and cinema etc. Down south a similar town only has one store.

We have cheaper goods and a much better selection.. People from down there will come up here for healthcare etc.

If you compared Belfast with like Galway it's very different. NI is more like Scotland than ROI.

I would say especially student housing. I lived in Helsinki in a shared flat, and we had a washer in the bathroom. We took it from the dump if I don't remember wrong. Would be weird if they don't have. Mostly early 20th century blocks don't have them here.

OECD Regional stats for 2011. I didn't pick anything, those were adjacent regions.

Well, the Spanish have it right. I wish we had a siesta here mid-day.

It's flat and wet marshy with yucky black soil.
