If you want authentic authentic anything, the only cities to go to are L.A. and NYC. Chinese restaurants in NYC are definitely not the same as the ones you find in white bread America. I wonder how different Japanese food is actually gonna taste when I land in Tokyo next summer. The local "Japanese" place here is own and run by Chinese lol

Meh, I guess you guys are right. It's extremely Americanized though.
Not really. The basic ingredients are the same. The styles differ somewhat. Maybe the additional toppings that are sometimes added are the most Americanized feature.... what do they add to pizza nowadays? BBQ chicken, fries...? But the pizza itself is completely Italian.
How is Taco Bell not remotely Mexican? Maybe basic but it's definitely derived from that.
I think Taco Bell is more based off Tex-Mex, not actual Mexican food. A lot of so-called Mexican food in the US is Tex-Mex. Real Mexican food is run by Mexican immigrants.
Chinese Food makes me kind of sick to my stomach. I only like dumplings....that's about it.
Oh man, General Tso & (vegetable and/or pork) fried rice... too yummy to resist.
