Sometimes the concept makes more sense if you put numbers in to give an examples. Can't do that for complicated ones, just simple ones but often helps.
You won't find that formula anywhere because it's not really a special formula, it's just factoring out the x^(n_1 - n_2), and exponents add when numbers containing exponents are multiplied.
Yeah, I actually hate math. But once in a while, I'll try to make something up just for the fun of it. I don't think I've ever seen a way of expressing the difference between two numbers with the same base and different powers (without all that factoring nonsense). Thought it was shorter and simpler than this.
Spider season is in full swing; orb spiders are in every plant and tree in sight, there are 3 lined up in front of my bedroom window, so that should stop any flies getting in when the window is open! There is a false widow on the loose somewhere in the bathroom, and one of my friends spotted a large segestriid spider eating a cricket.

I'm trying to be positive and my mother and sister are being negative brats. This is really driving me up the walls, they are really exaggerating. I don't know who my sister thinks she is, she think's she's a university guru or something.
