Not bad. That's about 0.5C above my 30 year average for July. This July I'll be lucky to get 28C

What kind of weather system gave you such random hot spikes at the end of the month, Rozenn?

Anyway, this was my weather:

Mean temperature: 14.4C (-0.7C)
Mean maximum: 18.4C (-0.7C)
Mean minimum: 10.4C (-0.7C)
Rainfall: 92.8 mm (+47%)
Sunshine: I can't find data for anywhere near me, but I'm guessing 150-160 hours. Our average is only 163 but I'd be surprised if we beat that.

The 1st was our hottest July day on record and ended with quite a spectacular lightning show, but that was pretty much the end of it where interesting weather is concerned. Having no 20C days for three whole weeks at the end of the month was the longest run without reaching 20C in July since 1988. 25 of the last 27 days of the month were below average!

Large parts of England had an unseasonably cold night on the 30th-31st so I thought our record low for the month of 5.1C might be under threat, but it wasn't to be.

^^ That 31°C reading sure looks lonely!

The same that gave you wet weather. The return of low pressure over NW Europe caused stronger than normal westerly winds, offsetting the sea breeze. The temp rose higher with the low humidity, offshore winds and adiabatic heating from the small mountains ranges to the west.
