My difference is going to be HUGE... only because I moved from Eastern, Pennsylvania at the end of February to Las Vegas.... SO this post reflects my personal lowest temp experience and highest temp experience.

Lowest = -8°F on 2/24/2015
Highest = 113°F 6/20/2015 & 6/26/2015

Difference of 121°F lol

About the same as NZ's big range at a sea level location: Timaru 36.4C/-7.9C. A 44.3C range
That's a big range for us, it's normally -5 to +32.

What was it again? Can you repost here? Probably true comparing to all weather forum posters. Someone needs to start an Excel sheet. Or a Google Doc so we can enter then sort.

Pretty small year amplitude most places in my region and in the country so far in 2015.

Trondheim
Værnes: 35.2C year amplitude so far (-10.8C / 24.4C). Expected to increase if we get some real warmth in August
Voll: 38C amplitude so far in 2015 (-11.6C / 26.4C)

Region:
The smallest amplitude at Ona:21.7C (-1C / 20.7C)
Largest at Røros (625 m): 51.8C (-24.3 / 27.5C)
Largest at low altitude: Meråker (169 m): 50.4C (-19C / 31.4C)

Country:
Largest is probably Karasjok: 64.4C (-42C / 22.4C) Should have been larger with a more normal July (2C below normal there in July), might increase, almost 30C there in Aug last year.
Smallest at Røst: 18.8C (-5.3C / 13.5C). Will probably increase with some warmt in August. That island made it to 21C last year.

Oslo: 39.8C (-12.8C / 27C) small range for Oslo, might increase in August or December.

Last edited by Jakobsli; 07-31-2015 at 02:12 PM.. Reason: Corrected Trondheim and Ona - low was from 2014
