Hi Mike and welcome to the forum. Wow, from Paris!!! That's considered to be a romantic city by Americans. Are you vacationing in Az or moving there?

So what is your temp range with your record high and record low?

I wonder how summers are like in Maine? Any cooler than nearby New Hampshire?

Summers in the coastal areas of the Maine are generally in the 70s and 80s for highs. Temperatures in the interior can be a little cooler. Expect long daylight hours in the summer because Maine is located at the far eastern edge of the Eastern Time Zone.

I would say San Francisco or San Diego has the best summer weather.

If you want cool and not warm then SF is probably one of the best places for that. Usually in the 60's to low 70's.

If you want warm but not hot or cool then San Diego is the best. I love summers hear. Usually mid to upper 70's in the day and upper 60's at night.

I don't get it. The person that started the topic wants a place to get away from the heat and humidity in the summer. But people are recommending New England, Update NY, the upper midwest, and even a few southeastern locations. Is this a joke?

By the way, New Hampshire and Maine can be VERY hot and humid in the summer. Especially inland. It often gets hotter than Boston. Save New England for the fall. That's the best time to go.

And guess what? It gets hot/humid in Canada too!
