This is a moderate humid continental climate, which has some extreme low/high records.

It is located on a large continent, from 5°N to 65°S. The town itself is located at 45°S, with the desert beginning at 30°S and the tundra at 60°S, thus getting hot/cold snaps at times.

What do you think of it?

I would rate it a C-. It's interesting, but it is what I would rate most continental climates.

Too warm all the time (except for spring which is too cold) and too sunny. C

Good summers, winters are too mild for me but they get a decent amount of snow. I like the higher chance of getting extreme weather, as long as it doesn't swing up and down the whole time.

Its extreme low records are milder than mine, though I haven't reached -22°F in at least a decade. Bigger record to average difference though.

82% / B-. Not bad. Summers are still a little on the cool side, and winters on the warm side, but close. Summer seasonal lag hurts it though.

74% = C

The coldest months of the year, are only in the low/mid 40s F for average highs. It wouldn't be so bad if the warmer months didn't have so much humidity but at least one month could have an average high in the 30s.

One thing I would find cool about this climate would be for school letting out for the summer during June through August as a kid in grade school, and having it enjoyable in cold weather. Although for Christmas break and stuff, the climate wouldn't really fit the holiday season.

B/B-

I like the annual temperatures but it could be a lot better if the summers were quite a bit more dry with low humidity, and the winters could be sunnier given the current snowfall. If those changes were made then it'd be a A/A+ for me but in the current state it's pretty good, I'd prefer a more Mediterranean pattern though.

The summer holidays would be from December through to February, as it is in the southern hemisphere
