I don't think you can put neither heat lovers or cold lovers into one big monolithic grouping. I'm sure there's many different personalities within both groups.

ESTP here, and I like 4 season weather. I want all the seasons, heat, snow, spring awakening and fall foliage. I tolerate heat better, but I want those crispy snowy -15C nights, as long as they don't last for too long. I don't want endless 5-10C and cloud in winter, but neither 20C winters. Or 40C and sun in summer. Or only 15C in summer.

For what it's worth, I'm a non-shy introvert (meaning I have no problems interacting socially with other people, but I prefer my own company above everything else. I prefer small groups to groups of 7320327914718923 people) and I'm a cold weather lover. I don't mind warm summers but I love bitter cold, snowy winters. I prefer 0 F or even -10 F to 90 F.

News to me. All summer they moan and talk about when "relief" will come.

Those same people moan all winter about how cold it is. I think people just love to have something to complain about. They also moan that fall/spring are "too short".

Most people are only interested in weather for how it will affect their other activities, not a focused passion like us. They want weather that is close to room temperature and won't get them wet or put them in danger. That's why San Diego is "perfect".

Me I am very social. Many people in my cities know me. I can go out with many groups although I have few BEST friends. When I am out I am always dancing or laughing or make others laugh. Even if it is very hot outside and I am complaining then I will try to find out a way to have fun. And I am a cold lover.

I'm the same way in that I go out and have fun and make people laugh etc, but at the end of the night I have to go back home and be in solitary confinement for a few days lol. For some reason big social interactions while fun, are exhausting to me.

I don't go back home if I meet a "chic" that night though.
