Autumn snow extent has been steadily increasing for 50 years.

Last year had the largest autumn snow extent on record.

This year we are ahead again

lol. Not in this pattern we have. Forget it. Gonna be a short snow season IMO. But I just need 2 big storms and I'll be close to average. . Pattern DOES support big storms. Just need to release that Canadian air that's bottled up!

Latest for any measureable snow. 0.10"+

Bridgeport: January 19, 2007 (only 11 yrs since 1948 had to wait until after Dec 15th!)

Hartford-Windsor Locks: January 26, 1928 (only 7 yrs since 1905 had to wait until after Dec 15th WOW!!)

So in other words...we usually get snow by now!
