I went to Home Goods today thinking there would be a plethora of Christmas decorations and gifts I could get for my mother only to see that there was very little left. Very disappointed.

Then I went to a Hallmark store and at whim grabbed a box of chocolates and it cost $35!

I had Yuengling beer at a Christmas party this evening. Makes Coors Light seem like carbonated water in comparison.

Yuengling is much tastier than something like Coors Light or Bud Light, for sure. And it's pretty cheap, too. Plus it's a Pennsylvania-based, family-owned brewery, so I'm happy to buy their beer as much as I do.

Unfortunately I can't buy it here. The host had brought it back to their house from Pennsylvania.

Been wearing contacts this past weekend. Took about 20 minutes to put on and 10 to pull out both times. That's how gifted I am.

From now on days will be getting longer, about time!

To be honest, I only start noticing the difference well into February, by the time mid March comes around and the clock change is just around the corner is when I start enjoying the weather again
