Sitting outside with a can of cider, 42C, not breath of wind. Sweat starting to pool. Funnily enough it's "only" 37C at the airport which is 10km to the southwest.
This is my 5th day over 40C (3 of those over 45) and the 8th day at the airport.

38°C right now, struggling to 40°C. 39.3°C the official top.

I felt 40C when I was in Spain before and omg that was the best! The humidity was around 10%, and I "felt home" when I was in Zaragoza. God I miss that weather . I need to make my way to California or Florida....I can't decide if I want Mediterranean, tropical or subtropical and hurricanes or earthquakes lol

If I want to decide a place to live climate is not my primary deciding factor. Food is the primary factor and where I live puts me within 2 hours of food from all over the world. But that's for another topic.

It's not for me, either. The primary criteria for me are cost of living relative to salary, cultural diversity and tolerance, and then weather. I'd love to live in my birthplace again as most of my family live there, the tropical weather is just a bonus. Everything else is rather ****
The first two sentences of that comment below are 100 % accurate.
I felt safer everywhere I went in Europe (Except for a gypsie event in Czech Republic) than I do here.
