I'd say it's 2nd here behind pro football.

If the Eagles start stinking, and the Phillies are good, it could become 1st.

Baseball can easily fall behind hockey here if the Phillies are terrible and the Flyers good.

76ers have been very horrible lately. Worst team in the league last year, and it wasn't even close.

I love it

And now, a song that really gives me nostalgia, a song that I listened to a lot when I was 13. So many memories, so many "friends" that completely ignore me nowadays... nice days.

Basketball is definitely most popular here. I would love to see an NBA expansion team in Louisville.

You must be really wise and experienced now that you are 14.

Was standing in a relatively long line @ the liquor store this evening to buy some booze after work, and this middle-aged women walks up, asking me & another women, something along the lines of, "so you can't buy beer, wine, or other kinds of alcohol in supermarkets in this state?!"

I reply, basically, in vague terms, saying that it's very rare for supermarkets or other non-liquor stores in NJ to sell booze, because of how liquor licenses are given out. But that you occasionally can - it's just very rare. The women in front of me didn't even know that you could do that in NJ - which I can understand not knowing.

The women in front of me then asked where she was from - she said California.

I do have a vague understanding that buying booze in supermarkets is common in other parts of the country - most likely California too.

I guess she had tried to go into the supermarket to find the beer she was buying.

Saw her in the parking lot too - the car had a Florida tag on it. Must have been a rental. Wonder what she was traveling here for, but didn't ask.
