I honestly don't know. I think all hamlets have some kind of a reasonable frost-free period.

Of course they do. Human life is virtually impossible in places without a frost-free period.

MDW had 5 freezes in April. Last being on April 9th with a low of 24F/-4.4C Mind you MDW has a strong UHI. My station had 8 freezes in April, also with a low of 24F/-4.4C. The last freeze was on April 12th with a low of -0.6C.

We might be very close to a freeze Monday morning. Should be the last "chance" until some time in autumn....

Last freeze here was on 28 April. We had 2 freezes in April overall.

It's not unusual for our last freeze to occur in May, but a freeze from June-September is virtually unheard of. I think at Church Fenton there was 1 freeze in September in the last 40 years, never in June, July or August. I've seen snow in every month of the year except June-September as well.

Our last frost was 11th March with a low of -0.2c. We've had 11 frosts in 2016.

Our last frost is usually March, and our first frost in late November.

Last freeze here 28. April (Voll) and 27. April (Værnes) this year.

Average last freese is May 1. at Værnes Airport and April 28. at Voll (1986-2015).

Røros (3,800 inh) at 625 m asl has possibly the latest average freeze date in Norway if we only count towns with at least 3,000 inh: June 13th.

Other dates for avg last freeze:
Oslo April 23th. Bergen April 11th. Tromsø May 12th.

Any station: Earliest seems to be March 21th, latest seems to be July 19th (1,894 m)
