The drough ended with a bang. As of mid night tonight we will be within 1inch of an all time record rainfall year. The lakes are full and we are due another 5 inches by end of the weekend. We will blow that record away with over 50 inches rainfall.

I am sure the AGW crowd will take credit for it as we learned all things weather are due to AGW. Must be some powerful force to cool and heat the planet all at once

Today, Thanksgiving Day, it was sunny and 75, and the door is open and ceiling fan is on, at almost 9pm. Nice. Makes me forget the torture of summer in Ga.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner outside today and the centerpiece was made with roses I cut in my yard. I especially thank Mother Nature for none of the wind we have so often. Cheers to all for a happy holiday season. Jukesgrrl in Tucson, AZ.

I think we had an almost perfect Summer. Only a few very, very hot days. Perfect amount of rain and sunshine.

I'm thankful for a very wet November, that saturated the ground and gave all of the drought stressed trees some moister to store in their roots.

I'm thankful for having the ability to move where we are now (google my coordinates). Summer was HOT and we ALL loved it. Kids ran around outside all day everyday during summer in nothing more then shorts and flip flops, they all 3 got a nice tan. 19 days straight of 90+ degree temps.

Hopefully this winter is actually a winter and it snows more then 2" at one time. The kids and I are looking forward to a widespread major snow event. Theres 3 snow machines in the shop waiting to go blasting through the snow

The 37C on July 1st.

A shining light in an otherwise sh*te summer.

The first proper big thunderstorm for 10 years on August 22nd. And the very sunny April. Other than that, it's been a totally crap year with too little warmth in summer, too little cold in winter and months on end of cloudy, windy 10-16C rubbish.

The cold spells in January, February, and early March. Also the above average number of thunderstorms.
