Everything I'm looking at is showing a continued pattern with troughiness in the northeast especially. No end in sight but like I said, Sunny, 70s, and seasonable will be in the mix. Just no well above normal warm pattern in sight.

Last weeks EuroEPS is a fail.... Hello Trough end of this week. lol

Latest Euro for Philly. Normal max is low 70s now.

Not a very warm above normal pattern in sight. I'm looking, don't worry.

But Like I said.. Sunny, Seasonable, and even some days near 80 maybe, but the over all theme is below normal/seasonable.

Need to see more double digit 850mb temps.

And the clouds are out, previous threats of a repeat of cloudy don't seem like they'll pan out. A bit cooler than I'd like, but no complaints. Well definitely cooler than I'd like; not surprising after dry and not that warm air moved in... Local forecast has 28°F tonight, seems a bit too low.

... Freeze warning in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am EDT
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a freeze
warning... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am EDT
Tuesday.

* Location... western Hampden and Hampshire counties as well as
central Middlesex County.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

This was a surprise but not shocking since it will be a clear night I guess.

Interesting no freeze warning further north, still too soon for the growing season. But NW Vermont / NE New York State has advisories. Either from a different NWS Weather agency or they are really further along up north?
