Convective clouds built up fast early afternoon as forecast. Was mostly clear at 11 am. Huge cumulus cloud to my north. There's a large rain band hovering on the Massachusetts - Vermont border right now. Long east west, narrow north south.

It was sunny less than an hour ago, now I'm indoors with the lights on. Canyons of dark clouds were swirling above with tons of scud clouds. Now huge raindrops are falling.

I've just placed a complaint with the council over grass verges. They've stopped mowing beyond the town boundary, as a cost cutting measure. It a stupid and dangerous move, with grass 2-3 ft high within a few inches of the road.
