Frost tomorrow night here, low of 29F. Why is that notable? We have had a high temperature of 81F already so some plants and trees have partially emerged.

I got to 20s 2 mornings in a row now. Was 80°, 78° and a bunch of 60s. Trees and Shrubs emerged. but you know it means nothing. They are hardy and can take the frosts and freezes. It's the flowers that cant or the sensitive plants which shouldn't be outside yet anyway.. The delicate things. Not the trees
Deep blue sky this morning and cold (23°F). Is it actually cold for this time of year?
Normal for today is 48°F/26°F; we've had a lot of mild mornings. After Tuesday, all mornings are forecast to be above 30°F. Hopefully we'll see more buds, and bulb flowers out. Daffodils and tulips soon?

Same here. Reached 78 F/26 C on March 9th. Three days later it dropped down to 28 F/-2 C. This weekend has been below freezing. Average low this time of year is around 25 F/-4 C so generally above average this month.
Maybe you in the north will have the same pattern we had here. Record warm winter and then below average spring, including the coldest October in more than 50 years. But, a bad news: then in the summer we got torched again
